Finally Made it and postin
Sorry it took till Tuesday to post something but, man have we been busy.
Meeting, meal, work, meal, work, clean, meeting bed...repeat.
We are doing the finish work for Holy Cross lutheran, Redoing Miss Laurane's work that a contractor did an grab and go of funds, cleaning cleaning cleaning, lawn work, (you are fined $100 a day and a lein put on your house if you do not take care of your lawn, and if the fees exceed your value, they eminate domain it. The sad part is many people are not here because their home is gone...but if the city does not do this then rats and critters infest and if the house next to gets infested after they have rebuilt... so we come by and mow they homes that are waiting to be rebuilt, it is a blessing that never gets a thank you or a face put with it...one of the best, because it is straight service.
The Church that we were going to do VBS, change till next (we did not find out until 45 min before we were to go out). This led to some frustration on our part and then the camp was struglleing to find work for us....pray for peace on the hearts that wanted to work hard and only got to work medium...all of the students have been having FABULOUS attitudes... you must be proud of them.
